The mixer is the final device in the processing cycle. Here, a mixture consisting of used sand (circulating material) and a certain quantity of new sand, water, bentonite and possibly coal dust, depending on the recipe.

The weighing of the components should be self-evident. An alternative is the pneumatic injection of the additional materials (binding agent injection) directly into the mixer. The additives are distributed throughout the mixer and can be quickly worked into the batch.

For the moisture content, high-performance sensor for both moisture and temperature are required due to the tight tolerance levels. Supplemented with a highly precise dosage facility and a modern computer system, the requirement to provide the full level of required moisture at the very beginning of the mixing cycle is fulfilled. This specification is of particular importance in the case of the contemporary high-performance machines.

We have developed sensors, which can measure the moisture levels both on the track and in the containers; we are hence able to equip any type of sand processing facility. We consider the method of measuring the moisture levels in the pre-container and the container batch scale to be the most precise and the lowest in wear and tear.
